Activate Your Account


Please provide the following information to activate your student account at FGCU or to change your current password.
You will need to enter your University Identification Number (UIN) located on your Eagle ID, and your Gulfline PIN.
If you are not sure of your UIN and PIN, contact the Office of the Registrar at 239-590-7980.

Student ID:
  (9 digit UIN, no dashes or spaces)
Gulfline PIN:
Enter a new Password:
  (Length: min 8 / max 16)

The following rules and restrictions apply to account passwords:
Password rules:
- The password must be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 in length.
- The password is case-sensitive.
- The password can contain uppercase letters and lowercase letters.
- The password can contain numbers.
- The password can contain the following ASCII text characters: ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] \ : " ; ' < > ? , . /

Password restrictions:
The password cannot contain any of the following items:
- Spaces or Non-English characters.
- The account name being part of the email address.
   For example, if the email address is:,
       the password cannot contain 'azul5678'.
   This restriction is not case-sensitive.
   Therefore, AZUL5678 or Azul5678 also cannot be used in the password for

If you just registered for classes you must wait two hours for your email account to be created before activating your account. If you still have problems activating your account, contact FGCU's Computing Services Help Desk at 590-1188 or email

Computing Services, or any other department at FGCU, will NEVER ask you for your password via e-mail. If you ever receive an e-mail requesting your Eagle Mail username and password your should NOT respond and delete the e-mail immediately.
